knives!! i have no idea how well these cut, but they sure are pretty.

I was so sad that I could not see the Carine Roitfeld Revealed program on TV, but luckily CNN made it available online! Now my only gripe is the short length – 22 minutes is just not enough! Alas, beggars can’t be choosers.

we cook our steel-cut oats in the rice cooker after soaking them overnight. it’s not the fastest way but it’s probably the easiest way (no stirring, no burning!). mark bittman likes his with olive oil and tapenade, but i have a huge sweet tooth so i go for pairing mine with maple syrup and soy milk.

today i felt like having mini pancakes. luckily, will makes the best pancakes ever.

One of the most endearing collections from Rei in quite some time. The mix of delicate tulle and rough wool, adorable trompe l’oeil, semi-detached sleeves, and pleasing palette really had me jumping up and down.

an and filip have been around for over 10 years. a couple of years ago, i went to mac and didn’t pick up a gorgeous forest green cardigan by them and i’m still kicking myself for missing out.
