ann always has the best boots.
all the coats above are stunning; i’m really starting to doubt my ability to save money this year.

an and filip have been around for over 10 years. a couple of years ago, i went to mac and didn’t pick up a gorgeous forest green cardigan by them and i’m still kicking myself for missing out.

it’s paris fashion week and i am awake.
yohji f/w 09/10

i don’t really like red, but i do like black and i have a soft spot for yohji.
junya f/w 09/10

junya is one of my all time favorite designers. even though he likes to dabble with materials that i’m not as fond of, he does them so skillfully and beautifully that i really can’t complain. this collection does not disappoint.
thank goodness for paris.

Nostalgia is like dreaming awake

I finally visited the de Young for the YSL exhibition. This adorable knitted cocoon dress was one of my favorite pieces (and yes, I know what it reminds you of). Even if though not all the styles were to my taste, I cannot deny the exquisite construction of each garment.
p.s. If you had missed out on the symposium back in November, they kindly posted a video.
p.p.s. did you hear about the YSL/Pierre Berge auction? $264 million on the first night alone. yeow!
